Comments: Spring Lake is a gem of a lake. It is a small lake with very clear water and a healthy aquatic plant community. There is a good population of gamefish - including northern pike, black crappie, and largemouth bass. Blugill are abundant, but predominantly small. The water level on Spring Lake (as well as many other lakes) is low, which may lead to more difficult fishing from the pier due to dense submerged vegetation. Try fishing from a canoe to get past the vegetation and you have a good chance at hooking a nice pike.
