Comments: This lake is a very popular fishing lake. It has a pier, three shorefishing stations on the north shore, and lots of open space on the island to fish from. A shoreline restoration project on the 80th street shore was conducted in 2002. A fish survey conducted in 2007 found a good population of walleye up to 21 inches and largemouth bass up to 18 inches. Bluegill and crappie were found in moderate numbers. Northern pike, smallmouth bass, and yellow perch were found in low numbers.
