State Fair sculptures
Each year, the Adopt-a-River program commissions an artist, who creates an outdoor sculpture to be displayed at the Minnesota State Fair. It is made from a variety of materials gathered from actual river cleanup sites. During the fair, look for the sculpture beside the duck pond at the DNR's State Fair Building.
- A new sculpture has appeared each year at the fair since 1994. To hear some cool information related to the sculptures, listen to the "Trash Art from River Cleanup" podcast
